I love this. More and more states and municipalities are showing some spine. Yeah, it's too little and way late but it's a start. And if WE THE PEOPLE can keep the scumbag sellout cowardly politicians from pulling another amnesty then these laws will start having the desired effect: "Get out!"

More and more police and sheiriff's departments are finally seeing that illegal immigration is a problem in their communities. Sadly, many take the weak-kneed politically impotent position of not wanting to get involved, "It's a federal matter." Funny thing, there are many crimes that are "federal matters" like bank robbery, but you never hear them use that as an excuse for not taking action.

I can't even put into words the absolute contempt and loathing I have for these weasels. I think they should be tried for TREASON.

I love this story. This sheriff didn't mince words. It was kind of a "Hey, if most of your business comes from illegals and the illegals get scared off, don't come whining to me." Too many candy-ass sheriffs don't want to get involved. "Hey, Numbnuts. You're a cop, these are criminals, do your job."

I had to redo this post. Something odd happens from time to time when I paste from an article, it won't let me edit afterwards. Anyway, I'm all for compromise on some partisan issues, but illegal immigration isn't a partisan issue. At least, not with the public. Sometimes you have to take a stand and not compromise. No doubt there is a cadre of republicans that are happy to sell out the American people to business that wants a steady supply of cheap labor. Well, another amnesty won't solve that. And there are plenty of democrat politicians that are happy to sell out the people in the belief they will get more votes if illegals are made citizens.

I've been looking forward to this. We all know the drill: "We didn't know they were illegals. We followed the rules. These aren't even our hires. They came thru a sub-contractor....." These cases are great because it's the employees and former employees filing suit, not the government. And I can just about gurantee that there are more lawyers than ICE agents available to go after these employers. I think it was Zirkle Fruit that settled a similar lawsuit a while back. GOOD!!! When it cost them they'll stop pulling this crap.

You do the right thing by signing an executive order aimed at illegals working on state contracts, but you support giving them tuition breaks. Make up your mind.

What a bunch of snot-nosed bleeding-heart pukes. These "We are the World" pieces of gutless pig vomit should be tried for treason. Every Federal dime should be cut off from these scum.

Look, I understand being pissed at these candy-ass politicians but there is a line. Making threats of violence against them or their families is over the line. I've written plenty of them and chewed their asses out. Especially mentioning that I hope they get booted the hell out of office. But I DON'T make any kind of physical threat.

I don't give a damn what party a politician belongs to when it comes to illegal immigration. I oppose every one of them that is a weak-kneed appeaser/traitor.

I know thousands of people travel there on a regular basis. I know most don't have problems. But you couldn't pay me enough to go to that shithole. For those of you who don't know, Nuevo Laredo is just across the border from Laredo, Texas. And their stench is spilling over to our side.

Not that I'm happy to see people hurt or killed, except dope and human smugglers, and other assorted scum. When they get hurt or killed it just breaks my heart....NOT! But this is a sign that enforcement is working. Also, as an unintended consequence, word gets out that it's more expensive, more dangerous and they're more likely to get caught and guess what happens? They'll be even fewer trying to risk it. EXCELLENT!!!!

This pisses me off more than any other aspect of the debate. There is NO excuse. Sanctuary policies, ICE not following thru, police departments that won't check their inmates' histories. All resulting in another dead innocent citizen.

I don't advocate placing mines on the border with a "Just say 'BOOM' attitude, but I DO advocate our NG and Border Patrol being able to defend themselves. There are those weak-kneed candy-asses that would prefer we pull back from the borders or this will continue to happen. I'm NOT an appeaser.

Despite what all the whining naysayers have claimed, the numbers of crossers are dropping. We know that the deployment of 6000 NG and other measures are way too little and way too late. But there are those that still claim that, no matter what, we can't stop them. Bullshit. No, we won't be able to stop every gate-crashers but we can turn a flood into a trickle. Still, the single best thing we can do is cut off the incentives for these people to crash our borders. And that means going after the employers.

Woo-Hoo. I love this. It makes me happy as hell to see more and more police departments admitting the obvious, crime is everyone's business and illegal aliens are criminals.

Excellent. Every jail in the country should do exactly the same thing. Criminals are everyone's business and these people ARE criminals, from one degree to another. Here's a sheriff that understands crime. Nothing reduces crime like getting rid of criminals. Sadly, after these gate-crashers do their time they, then, can go before an Immigration judge and argue that they should be allowed to stay. I hope the judges throw everyone of them out.

We know these "Raids" are kind of a joke but they've had a tremendous effect. The Illegals are wetting their pants because they've had such a free ride for so long. Their attitude is, once they get across the border they shouldn't be touched. So sad, too bad. Get the hell out and take your DNA with you.

Everytime I hear the snot-noses using terms like "divisive," "mean-spirited" and "anti-immigrant" I want to puke my guts out. That's all they can ever do. Whine, cry and name call because the facts don't support them. Here's another state addressing the problem of being over-run with people that have no regards for our laws or our borders.

Georgia passed some tough laws last year that are going into effect. Including checking the immigration status of everyone arrested for a felony or DUI. Good idea but why stop there? Why not a check of every person arrested? Anyway, they're looking at passing some laws to cut off tags for illegals' cars. Excellent. Keep it up and maybe they'll go somewhere else, like back home.

This just validates what I've noticed over the past many years. As more people become aware of the problem fewer people are willing to put up with it. All across this country illegals have spread and grown because of our government doing nothing to prevent it. If I could break into DisneyLand and get a reward I'd consider it. There's every reason for illegals to crash our borders or overstay visas and few reasons to abide by our laws.
