Sheriff Joe Knows What to Do About Illegals

@ 03:55 PM (17 months, 17 days ago)

Somebody, in a previous post, pointed out that under Arpaio's watch, a detainee died while in police custody. Not good. I don't know the particulars and it's not relevant to the point I'm trying to make. We need somebody in charge with a hard-ass attitude towards illegals. We've coddled them for way too long. Yes, they're human beings and I don't support any brutality but I have no qualms with a serious enforcement position, same as towards any thief.

ICE Raid in Baltimore. Get 'Em, ICE

@ 06:45 PM (17 months, 18 days ago)

I wish our candy ass government would just let these guys do their jobs. I have no doubt that much of this is just a show but, damn, it's not like ICE agents wouldn't like to be unleashed. I'd love to see that. These piddly raids here and there are causing illegals and their supporters to wet themselves. The reason is because, for so many years, they knew that once they got in they were virtually home-free and untouchable.

Yeah, I love the "Allegedly" thing. Innocent until proven guilty. I'm so sick of this that I don't usually post these stories, anymore. It happens all the time. There is NO EXCUSE for allowing illegal aliens to commit crime after crime and not be deported. There is no excuse for allowing these people back on the streets until they finally kill someone. It's inevitible and the blood of these innocents is also on the hands of those that let these people free.

Some Border Hospitals Offer Free Health Care to Mexicans

@ 12:40 AM (17 months, 20 days ago)

This is a little different twist to the health care costs of illegals. The part I'm focusing on is that these aren't people entering with the intention of staying. they're entering with the intention of getting free care in a US hospital. Had a friend that worked in Miami's Jackson Memorial. He told me all sorts of very strange tales about immigrants and that place. Anyway, I heard a story about some such hospital in Florida, don't know if it was Jackson or not, where immigrants would fly into Miami. Take a cab to the nearest hospital and get whatever medical care. Then, they'd simply leave after getting their free fix.

Tancredo Sued by Immigrant

@ 12:28 AM (17 months, 20 days ago)

This is too funny.

Defamed?

A jailed Iraqi immigrant has sued Rep. Tom Tancredo for $5 million, saying the congressman defamed him during a controversy over so-called "catch-and-release" immigration enforcement last year.

Gavan Alkadi, 46, reportedly immigrated to the United States at age 15, but has been in legal limbo for the past several years. He faces deportation proceedings prompted by his various brushes with the law.

Colorado Bureau of Investigation records show he has been arrested more than 30 times in Colorado since 1981 on suspicion of offenses that include DUI and assault. Many of those charges were dismissed.

In 2002, he was sentenced to a year in jail for domestic violence and obstructing police in Boulder County.

Deportation proceedings began in 2003, but by the time Alkadi’s deportation order became final in October 2005, the new Iraqi government would not or could not approve his return.

"U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo had caused Me Mental Stress and No Sleep Because I am always Thinking Why and How I Became his Poaster child," Alkadi wrote in the filing, which includes many spelling and punctuation errors.

@ 11:53 PM (17 months, 25 days ago)

Sorry, I don't have a link because I just saw this on the nightly news. Remember all the cries to the heavens about those mean-spirited racist Nazis with ICE who were conducting "raids?" "Oh, they're splitting up families..." Actually, those raids were targeting individuals who had already been through the system and been ordered deported. Some were big time criminals. Others were ordered deported because they didn't even show for their hearings. A few might have been picked up because ICE, when they went looking for Scott Kim Valdez, ran into another illegal or two.

It's about to be re-released with some modifications. But, all of a sudden, McCain starts getting cold feet about it. Mission Viejo Setting a Standard

@ 12:13 AM (18 months, 9 hours ago)

This should be the law in every state for every employer. Just as a comparison, did you ever notice a cashier running your credit card through a little reader. Did you know that these little readers give a "Yeah" or "Nay" on that card? I worked at a shop where we had to call in credit card numbers thru an automated system. We had to write down the authorization code. So what's the big deal? Why would employers be crying about such a system? They do "Instant" background checks on gun buyers but don't want a similar system for employees? Gee, I wonder why?

Arizona's Kicking Ass

@ 02:44 PM (18 months, 19 hours ago)

I love this. More and more areas of this country are passing laws aimed at illegals because the federal government hasn't done jack. The FEW recent attempts by ICE have caused the pro-illegal lobby to cry to the heavens. No surprise there. For much too long there's been an attitude that once you snuck into this country you were untouchable. I'm very glad to see those days coming to an end. The good part about this legislation from Arizone is that it targets the employers. EXCELLENT. Kill the incentives and it will help kill the problem. I hope that WEASEL Napolitano has the ovaries to sign this if it gets to her desk.

McCain's a LIAR

@ 05:05 PM (18 months, 1 day ago)

This gets so old. Is there anyone that doesn't get it? McCain, and others, know that the word "Amnesty" doesn't play well with the public so they like to use more palatable phrases like "Comprehensive reform" or "Earned Legalization." Also, they talk about the need for a "Guest Worker Program" when, in fact, we have many such programs. They, also, like to say how impossible or impractical it would be to round up and deport 12 plus million illegals. I remember Bush making some comment about how they'd already put down roots. Excuse me? Well, uproot them or they can self-transplant.

I just emailed this piece of puke and shared a few thoughts with him. I should write the school board and suggest that Mr. Rodriguez find another line of work rather than working for a government that he likens to Nazis. How are the arrests of wanted illegal aliens any different from the arrests of wanted thieves, rapists or any other wanted criminals? These arrests aren't targeting criminals based on race, color, religion or ethnicity. They're targeting criminals that have been ordered deported or didn't show up for their court hearings.
