It's pretty much the same as always. Some illegals got caught, some illegal was accused of a really vile rape, some "immigrants" were caught with drugs, some place is ok with helping pay their tuitions, another place is trying to cut it off, etc.. I live for the odd, the unusually outrageous, the trends, the latest slime political move. It's really sad that I've seen so much tragedy and off the sanity scale stories that they seem to blur after a while.

A 25-year-old illegal alien was arrested Tuesday on a charge that he sexually molested a 3-year-old girl, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.
The victim was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital on Saturday complaining of pain, according to sheriff's reports. A medical examination determined the girl had been molested, authorities said.

Things are NOT good in Mexico.
More dead cops.
Five federal police and a suspected hit man were killed in a shootout Tuesday as authorities surrounded a house in Culiacan, home to the Sinaloa drug cartel.
Four other federal police were hospitalized with wounds, and police took several suspected cartel members into custody, according to a federal police official who wasn’t authorized to give his name.
In the nearby border city of Juarez, a death list of 22 officers was left at a monument to fallen police four months ago, addressed to “those who still don’t believe” in the power of the cartels.
Of the 22, seven have been killed and three wounded in assassination attempts. All but one of the others have quit.

Two men face federal charges after being accused of helping illegally smuggle Brazilian citizens into the United States last week.
Luiz Roberto Jardim and Yuen Cheng both face a charge of conspiring to smuggle aliens into the country, according to an affidavit filed in the case. They will be arraigned on the charges June 6, but are temporarily being detained without bail.
The investigation began Friday after a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent saw a boat at an address in the Bahamas known to be used by smugglers to bring Brazilian citizens into the country illegally. The boat was registered to a Port St. Lucie address and the agent notified Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, the affidavit states.

We're dealing with people that will stop at nothing to promote their agenda and if they think that parading around children with "Don't deport my Daddy" signs will serve their purpose then that's what they'll do. I found this from FAIR:
May 21, 2008
Last night, Democratic Leadership partially capitulated and agreed to strip three of the four immigration amendments from the Iraq War Funding Bill that is on the Senate floor this week.
The move came when Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) made a point of order under Senate Rule 16, which prohibits legislating policy on an appropriations bill. The parliamentarian agreed, and stripped the following amendments:
- The AgJobs Amendment that would have granted amnesty to 1.35 million agricultural workers and their families;
- The Murray-Gregg Amendment that would have made approximately 218,000 more green cards available for multinational executives and so-called "highly skilled workers" by "recapturing" visas from as far back as 1994; and
- The Leahy Amendment that would have extended for 5-years a program that helps wealthy investors get green cards.
However, Senate sources tell us that the Mikulski H-2B amendment - an amendment that could lead to hundreds of thousands of new unskilled H-2B guest workers flooding the labor market in only a few years - is still in the Iraq War Funding Bill. This is because the Iraq War Funding Bill is being considered in two parts and point of order raised by Senator Menendez only applied to the first part. The H-2B provision is in the second.
Please keep calling your Senators until Democratic Leadership strips this final special-interest immigration amendment from the Iraq War Funding Bill! Tell them that you oppose importing tens of thousands of new unskilled (H-2B) guest workers to appease corporate interests—and especially when the economy is struggling.
We heard throughout the day that your calls put intense pressure on Senators across the country. One staffer told us that the phones were "lighting up like a Christmas tree." Please help us make sure Congress looks out for the American people and not special interests.
